Paul Glaser was born and raised in Holland, in a Catholic family. He learned that he was a Jew completely by accident - his father never told him about it. Paul decided to find out how his relatives survived the Second World War, who died, who survived and how. His search led him to Sweden, to Rose, his father’s sister, with whom he had not maintained relations for many years. Paul, having collected his aunt's diaries, her letters, poems, photographs, was able to reconstruct the life story of a woman who found herself in a whirlpool of tragic events, but managed to survive.
