What if? The question is like a perpetual motion machine of fantasy, pushing the plot forward. The presented work is no exception. Without unnecessary fiction, the basis for the story is a classic episode from the world of the Dragon Age, dedicated to the confrontation of a desperate group of dissimilar individuals with the threat of the fifth Blight. As often happens in work of this kind, a number of assumptions have been made in the series of events that have already happened and are only to come. Some are on the surface. For example, on whose fragile shoulders the contradictory role of the “protagonist” is entrusted. And is it a hero?.. Or - who is destined to live and walk the crooked path of history, and who will leave the readers quickly and ingloriously. Other changes are hidden. Or they just pretend that they are skillfully hiding. I invite the reader to the fire in order to experience together this small, but, I hope, fascinating experiment.
