In his new book, the famous music journalist, producer and writer Alexander Kushnir recreates the biography, work and fate of Ilya Kormiltsev - poet, translator, publisher, author of many famous hits of the groups “Nautilus Pompilius”, “Nastya”, “Urfene Juice” and others who made the glory of the Sverdlovsk rock club. This is both a fictionalized biography and an album of memory of a great man and colleague. The book reproduces for the first time hundreds of unique photographs obtained from the archives of the Kormiltsev family, from friends, colleagues and famous photographers. Alexander Kushnir was personally acquainted with Ilya Kormiltsev for many years, interviewed him several times, and collaborated on various musical projects. And in the end I wrote a book. This publication continues the series of books by A. Kushnir, dedicated to famous figures of the Soviet and Russian underground, begun by the biography of S. Kuryokhin “The Crazy Mechanics of Russian Rock.”
