Mikhail Streltsov is a poet, prose writer, participant in literary seminars and festivals, where he is often a co-director. Member of the Union of Russian Writers and the Russian PEN Center. In Streltsov’s stories, attention is drawn to the amazing combination of Astafiev-style genuine, honest material with light shades of irrationality and self-irony. However, the author cannot be classified as an inventor due to his keen powers of observation, animalistic - Tolstoyan! - sense of situations and characters. In 2018, based on the stories from this book, the play “Guests” was staged.
