In the new book of the St. Petersburg writer Kira the Terrible, laureate of the. Gogol and a finalist for the Creative World Prize, included two stories united by the figure of the main character - a simple girl from the eighties. In the first, the heroine is still a schoolgirl: the parents, on a long business trip, work at a defense plant in Central Asia, and their little daughter discovers an interesting world in a tiny village among the mountains, on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul. In the second story, the heroine returns to Leningrad - in the mountain village she was considered a Leningrader, but in Leningrad her classmates perceive her as a hillbilly. However, she quickly finds her place in the school environment, makes a friend - a rude and poor student rejected by her classmates, falls in love with a smart, bright teacher... The stories are written easily and entertainingly, with humor and merciless frankness.
