Intercepted letters are the 20th century through the eyes of three generations of a family from the old noble family of the Tatishchevs and their entourage. The author highlights two bright figures of the artistic world of the Russian diaspora - the poet Boris Poplavsky and the artist Ida Karskaya. Compiled from original documents of the era, the novel reflects the emotional and spiritual experience of people who went through wars, revolution, emigration, political persecution, the dissident movement. The book is illustrated with photographs of the main characters.
