The story is interesting because it was written by the nephew of Chingiz Aitmatov (a world-famous writer), who is familiar first-hand with the life story of the writer and his family, which was repressed in 1937. For fifty years, Genghis has been searching for traces of his father. Finally, in 1991, by an incredible coincidence, the site of a mass execution was located, where the remains of the father rest with the other 137 innocently executed. The truth that has come, treacherously hidden from people during the Stalinist regime, is striking in its inhumanity. In addition, in the story, the paths of two outstanding people named Chingiz - Genghis Khan and Chingiz Aitmatov - intersect in an incredible way... Which of them had a greater influence on the minds and hearts of people?.. The author does not give a direct answer, but gives the reader food for thought. Who are we? Where we are going? What is our goal? What do we want to leave behind for our descendants?.. Problems of morality, morality and the spiritual duty of man are raised in this undoubtedly interesting work.
