The book contains lectures by the modern Buddhist lama, head of the Karma Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, His Holiness the Seventeenth Gyalwa Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje. They are devoted to the most important theme of Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism - the path of the Bodhisattva. In the first part, the author reveals the themes of interfering emotions, the Six Paramitas and talks about the content of the Bodhisattva vow. The second part is Gyalwa Karmapa’s commentary on the classic text “The 37 Practices of the Bodhisattva” by the Tibetan author of the 13th–14th centuries Gyalse Thogme Zangpo. The author of the book is the head of the largest school of Tibetan Buddhism. The Karmapas are called the Kings of Yogis of Tibet. This book is about how anyone can improve themselves on the path of saving other living beings from suffering.
