In his new book, historian and archaeologist Alexey Bychkov again returns to the question “Were there Russians in Rus'?” Based on chronicles, documents, archival records, testimonies of archaeologists and researchers, the author comes to unconventional conclusions, allowing the reader to take a fresh look at well-known facts and scientific research about the origin of the Slavs. Especially for this book, the author prepared and translated the works of Karol Kadpets, a Czech lawyer , a specialist in the history of Slavic law and Jan Potocki, the first scholar of Slavic studies.
