For six thousand years now, the Yarilo star system has been in low-energy space. The sleepers organically adapted to the changed environment. They learned to manage technogenic machinery and began to change any technology to suit their needs. The dangerous phase is close to completion: in five hundred years the star Yarilo will return back beyond the Border. But Darkness always thickens before dawn. The degrading factor is increasingly affecting new generations, and now some young Sleepers are beginning to openly sympathize with the Dark Ones, question the ideals of the Shining Ones and even challenge the covenants of the Family. Will the Elders manage to smooth out the tension, or is the first internecine conflict inevitable?
