The collection includes declassified documents from the archives of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation - analytical reviews of Poland's foreign and domestic policies, political letters and recordings of conversations between ambassadors, reports from military attaches, service telegrams from Polish diplomatic missions, etc. Two phrases from the preface: “During the period under review, Soviet foreign intelligence had intelligence capabilities that made it possible to receive owls. secret documents prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the General Staff of Poland or received by them. These documents, in our opinion, are capable of significantly supplementing the information picture of the events of those years and revealing the motives behind the decisions made by the country's leadership. Perhaps not all the secrets of Polish politics in the pre-war years have been revealed, but a look at the world through the eyes of senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the military department and the intelligence services will be useful for a responsible interpretation of the events associated with the outbreak of the Second World War.
