The story is written in the genre of alternative fiction, and tells about the work of the Soviet police in the 80s and 90s, in an alternative universe where perestroika did not happen, and the USSR conquers space. An ordinary police officer from a completely real department, in the northwestern district, is trying to investigate a series of strange murders. Unexpectedly, it turns out that this case is connected with his youthful dream of space, where he did not fly because of his girlfriend. And then it turns out that he did the right thing by not flying... Contains obscene language.
