The letters of one of the most famous poets of European romanticism are of considerable literary and historical interest. They are a rare example of an unintentionally created autobiographical story, captivating with sincerity, spontaneity of feeling and inquisitiveness of thought, chained to poetry, to the secrets of art, to the duty of a poet in a world that is largely hostile to him. According to a number of critics, Keats's letters are no less talented and expressive in depicting the poet's inner life than his poems and poems. Complete translation of letters was carried out for the first time in Russia. SUMMARY: LETTERS. 1815-1820 (5).APPENDICES.I. Dyakonova, S.L. Sukharev. Letters of John Keats (459).
