The action of the novel ·The Path of Giants takes place in the fictional country of Tagr-Cosse (in development, approximately - the north of Europe in the first half of the 19th century). The plot includes elements of realism, fantasy, and mysticism. This is a book of fantasy and adventure. It uses motifs from Celtic and other mythologies. I propose to call this genre reality fantasy. The main character is a fifteen-year-old teenager named Tinch, a young adventurer, a hard worker, an aspiring artist and at the same time a little magician. His father leads an uprising of soldiers fighting for the freedom of Tagr-Koss. There are many other characters in the book - soldiers, sailors, workers, creative people, totalitarian sectarians, aliens from outer space, and so on. Courage, inexhaustible faith in universal ideals and unshakable optimism help the heroes achieve victory.
