Book “Day of Liberation of Siberia” by O.A. Pomozov is dedicated to the difficult history of Siberia from March 1917 to May 1918, the period of the October and February revolutions. It talks about the struggle of Siberians for the rights of the local population, to provide the region with greater political, economic and sociocultural independence. The author of the book, in his own words, does not claim absolute historical accuracy, and sometimes even mythologizes the described historical events of the past. When working on the book, the author revised a large number of primary sources, including periodicals of that period. All sources used are given at the end of the monograph. In addition, the book contains a short biographical reference about the main participants in the events described, unique dossiers. The book is intended mainly for the general reader. At the same time, it may be of interest to students of humanities universities and professional researchers.
