They say that the work of a historian is in many ways similar to the work of an investigator. The truth of this statement had to be confirmed in October 2015, when in one of the oldest monasteries of Vladimir, the Dormition Princess Monastery, the tomb of its founder, who lived in the second half of the 12th century, was opened. Maria Shvarnovna, the first wife of the Grand Duke of Vladimir Vsevolod the Big Nest. The burial contained the remains of four people. This amazing discovery led to a whole investigation to find out: who were these people and what relationship did they have with each other?
