Julia is a well-structured, fast programming language that eliminates the classic problem of running analysis in one language and translating the results into a second to improve performance. The steps for installing and running Julia in different operating environments are given. Various ways of working with the language, its key functionality are described, and practical examples are analyzed step by step. The work of Julia with external processes is considered, thanks to which there is a significant improvement in the quality of visualization of graphs and data.
