In the Lipatov family, two relics are passed down from generation to generation - a pectoral cross made of ebony and an ancient manuscript in Venetian, according to legend, written by their ancestor Giovanni Toso. She talks about countless treasures, among which is a casket containing particles of the Life-Giving Cross, long lost by the church, and the key to it is that same black cross. Many generations of Lipatovs searched for the casket, but no one could find it. And suddenly they had unknown competitors: an unknown person stole a cross from Academician Lipatov, and he himself died - allegedly from a broken heart. Perhaps luck in the search for the treasure will smile on his nephew Vladimir, because legend says that the discovery of the Life-Giving Cross will happen this year...
