The Lunar Trilogy by Jerzy Zulawski (1874–1915) is a classic work of not only Polish but also world science fiction. A man of a rare rich life, its author managed to make these three novels equally rich - “On the Silver Planet”, “Victorious” and “Ancient Earth”. Here you will find everything - the romance of the first discovery of the world, and adventures, and clashes of different civilizations, and the problems of the origin and formation of religion, and a purely Swiftian pamphlet on society, which has not lost its relevance to this day. It is no coincidence that the “lunar trilogy” is not only constantly republished in Poland, but continues to be translated into a variety of languages to this day. Now it’s the Russian’s turn.
