Igor Malyshev’s kind, educational fairy tale entertainingly and from an unexpected perspective reveals to the child how the world around him works. Its heroes are little people (a ten-year-old boy Cornyushon and his adult aunt Ryleyka) traveling on poplar fluffs. Having made a stop in the old garden, they walk along the branches, looking at bees and grasshoppers. A drop of dew can drench them from head to toe, and they cut strawberries into slices, like we cut a watermelon. But the main (and dangerous) adventures await them underground, in a hole dug by a mole, into which they fell. See the underground world from the inside, examine the roots of herbs and trees, get lost in a labyrinth of passages and look for ways to light and fresh air - readers will experience all this together with the heroes of the fairy tale. And also think about the fact that the beauty of living nature is more beautiful than any underground treasures.
