The monograph is devoted to the problem of transformation of political regimes in the countries of Eastern Europe, the post-Soviet space and North Africa in 2000–2014. The main emphasis is on the analysis of “soft power” technologies that were used by the United States and its allies to carry out coups d’etat in Serbia, Georgia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Tunisia, Egypt and again in Ukraine. Organized by the West using the latest techniques of geopolitical engineering, the “color revolutions” led to dramatic consequences both for the system of global governance and for the internal development of these countries. International crises, permanent political turbulence, socio-economic collapse, loss of real sovereignty - these are the main results of the “color revolutions.”
