The work of the famous French poet of the 19th century was created over 40 years (1823–1863) and reflects not only the facts of literary and social life, but also the thoughts of the poet, his quest, and gives an idea of his creative laboratory. “Letters of Last Love” and letters to Russian correspondent A.I. Kossakovskaya, included in the book, contain valuable information about the last years of the writer’s life and are an example of high spiritual epistolary communication.
