In the great slaughter, the Jedi were destroyed and the Republic fell. For Darman, grieving the loss of his wife and separated from his son, it is a painful test of loyalty. But he is not the only one who will be tested by the bonds of brotherhood. On Mandalore, where clone deserters and the planet's inhabitants themselves have no love for the Jedi, you need to question your beliefs. In a new, wild era of galactic order, old feuds may have to be put aside to unite against a greater threat, and no one can now reconcile their old loyalties.
