The story is from the book “The Trappers,” which consists of three stories written by different authors - the German Karl Hagenbeck (“Of Beasts and Men”), the American Charles Mayer (“How I Caught Wild Animals”) and the native of South Africa George Michael (“ The Michael Family in Africa"). All of them are united by a favorite and fascinating activity - searching and catching exotic animals, organizing nature reserves or making films about wildlife. A wealth of factual material, vivid impressions and memories of many years formed the basis of this story.
