The narcissistic singer Rooster, the naive dreamer Goose, the impressionable bore Ram, the boorish clever Pig and the young maximalist Bull take turns running into the forest, not wanting to get to the festive table. They are instigated by the passionate leader Cat, who understands that nothing threatens her, so she stirs things up and behaves like a real manipulator. The grandfather is a slob with a fine mental organization, seeing in the departure of animals a special sign to start a new life, he stops drinking and becomes a vegetarian. In the forest, the fugitives face not only harsh natural conditions, but also a new threat of being eaten. Only by uniting do they manage to repel the attack of predators: Fox, Wolf and Bear, who are not able to defeat domestic animals due to their selfishness and disunity.
