What is this sketch about? You can’t say it in a few words. Probably about different times, through which we go and observe their charms and abominations using the example of the fate of a person of the generation of the 90s. He is seen rowing along the river of time and observing life and people, while placing beacons on this river in the form of names, ideals and actions, which, in his opinion, should serve as guidelines. In his reflections, he tries to find answers to eternal questions, as well as to the questions posed by modernity. “Baklazhanov’s Political Dream” is the author’s free view of the course of world processes, the balance of power, and even an attempt at some forecasts. There, in particular, there are discussions about the national idea, about the world elite and an original presentation of the “Jewish question” in general and the Soviet period in particular. It’s just that, unlike the work of professional political scientists, everything here will be presented in a figurative and artistic manner.
