Fedorov as heads of the organizations that he actually created and which he led for a long time - Roshydromet and the Institute of Applied Geophysics. Yes, there are few memories. But they are written very differently and by different people. And this is their value. Because everyone saw something of their own in Evgeniy Konstantinovich. Each noted some details that others did not notice (or they were erased from memory). Development of the scientific fleet of Roshydromet (N.A. Kornilov), development of a system for monitoring radiation pollution from nuclear tests (N.K. Gasilina), creation of an experimental test site in Obninsk and its transformation into a full-fledged institute (A.D. Orlyansky) and many other points multifaceted activities of E.K. Fedorov is touched upon in these memoirs. The book ends with the diaries of E.K. himself. Fedorov. And this is very valuable. His words, his thoughts, his assessments of events complement the image of him that develops after reading the memories of other people.
