From this book, the reader will learn about the life and scientific achievements of the most outstanding women mathematicians of different eras.  These are Hypatia and Lucretia Piscopia, Caroline Herschel and Mary Somerville, Ada Lovelace and Florence Nightingale, Sofia Kovalevskaya and Emmy Noether, Grace Hopper and Julia Robinson.  Although they lived in different times and explored different areas of mathematics, they were all united by a love for this science, as well as a desire to break the stereotypes that had developed in society.  By their example, they proved to the whole world: women have the same intellectual abilities as men, and succeeded in mathematics a little less solely for social reasons.
