Review of the writer Budenkova T.P. at the competition "Realistic Prose 2020": Surprisingly, at the beginning of the story, the main character Mikhail Pyatikop instructs tank commanders on how to meet superior enemy forces. So this is what surprised me: tell me that it’s already clear nine versus forty. This is a fact, of course, but the author managed to present this reconnaissance in such a way that I, a purely civilian person, read without stopping and visually imagined both the area and the plan of Pyatikop. For this, special respect to the author, because I understand how many documents he had to study before achieving such reliable clarity. And listening to what they now say about that war, it costs a lot. Documentary authenticity and highly artistic presentation of the plot - isn’t this the merit of the story? Every stroke in the story contributes to the plot. Although there are not many of these touches, each one hits the target. Short, succinct sentences hold attention so that the heart begins to beat faster, and the battle appears before your eyes.
