The novel tells about specific historical events taking place in 1917-22, during the liberation of the Russian Far East from Japanese, American and other invaders. We are talking about anarchists who, in fact, threw out all foreign evil spirits from Far Russia and ultimately turned out to be criminals. The main character of the story, the liberal-minded writer Robert Rynda, delves so deeply into the essence of what is happening on the pages of his novel, which he writes, that he physically finds himself in the center of events. He even becomes both a witness and a participant in everything that happens. There are plenty of sad and funny things in the novel.

Ця книга не лише розважає, але й змушує задуматися про складність історії та людських відносин. Рекомендую всім, хто любить поєднання гумору та глибоких тем у літературі!
