The book tells about the heroic deeds of the flight and technical personnel of the 135th Guards Taganrog three-time decorated aviation regiment. The author is an experienced aerial reconnaissance pilot. From July 1943 to May 1945, he made 179 combat missions, mostly reconnaissance, and successfully carried out the most important missions. For his exploits N.A. Bondarenko was awarded five orders and many medals. But he writes sparingly about himself; the main thing for him is to talk about his comrades in arms and their heroic deeds.
