This book is the memoirs of one of the employees of the headquarters of Lieutenant General Vlasov, Colonel Konstantin Grigorievich Kromiadi. During his long life, the author was successively an officer in the Russian Imperial Army, the Russian Army of General Wrangel, the Russian People's National Army, the Russian Liberation Army (ROA) and, finally, an officer in the Armed Forces of the Committee for the Liberation of the Peoples of Russia (KONR). With his direct participation, the organizational formation and registration of the ephemeral Russian Liberation Army, and then the Armed Forces of the KOHP, took place. The author was one of the few white emigrants who were part of Vlasov’s inner circle.
