“Dawns over Russia” is a broad historical canvas covering the period from 1359 to 1380, when, under the yoke of the Tatar-Mongol yoke, the Russian people begin to unite and gather strength and deal a crushing blow to the Golden Horde in the battle on the Kulikovo field. Although the novel deals with times far removed from our days, the deep patriotism of the narrative cannot but excite the modern reader. The book is equipped with notes that provide explanations of historical events and explain ancient words.
