Pavel Petrovich Bazhov (1879–1950) is a writer and folklorist who received the Stalin Prize in 1943 for his book of Ural tales, “The Malachite Box.” In modern Russia, he remains popular, because in his works P. Bazhov writes about the unchangeable and eternal - about how important love, patience and kindness are. The language of the tales is unique and unusual for the average reader, but it is the language that makes Bazhov’s works a property of world literature. For primary school age.
