The author has been working in journalism for 30 years. Of these, 25 are normal, pro-Russian. The proposed book includes lyric and journalistic works from different years. To a certain extent, they reflect the cataclysms of recent decades and the corresponding quests and experiences of the generation of “seventies”, who met “perestroika” with some confusion and immediately fell into the millstones of reform. We are on the scaffold together with our Motherland, with the entire Russian people. But the author is against apathy and, even more so, despair. Cheerful stoicism is his credo. We hope that the book “Summer of the Bearded Pioneers” will be uplifting for many readers. The author will be happy if it at least helps young people not to do unnecessary stupid things, peers - not to climb into a noose or a bottle, will allow old people to experience a feeling of life-loving nostalgia for the not-so-distant past. A strange thing: some texts that at one time seemed banal, over the years acquire signs of documents of the time... Most of the works are published for the first time.
