As is known from history, the conflict between the USSR and Japan on the Khalkhin Gol River lasted from May to September 1939 and ended with the defeat of the separate 6th Japanese Army. On September 15, 1939, at the request of Japan, a truce was concluded between the Land of the Rising Sun and the USSR. According to the author, a military historian, the Soviet command, taking advantage of the successes at Khalkhin Gol, did not stop there, but developed an offensive and struck the Japanese in Manchuria and China, completely defeating the Kwantung Army not in 1945, but back in 1939.

Особливо вражає глибина дослідження та увага до деталей, що робить цю книгу не лише інформативною, але й дуже захоплюючою. Рекомендую всім, хто хоче дізнатися більше про цю маловідому, але важливу сторінку історії!
