The second novel by Alexey A. Shepelev, the leader of the “Society of the Spectacle” group, professing the art of “moronism” and “radical radicalism”, the author of the trash novel “Echo”, which was sensational in the youth informal environment (shortlist for the “Debut” prize - 2002 ) “Maxximum Exxtremum” - “maximum extreme”, a coincidence of opposites: love and hatred, the highest and lowest aerobatics of the heroes’ existential existence. A. Shepelev’s book stands out against the background of the products of the publishing house “Oxygen”; there is no usual pop-youth understanding of the word “extreme”.
