A work from a series of stories about cadets of the Higher Border Military-Political Order of the October Revolution of the Red Banner School of the KGB of the USSR named after K.E. Voroshilov. The work describes in a humorous manner an internship in the fourth year of college. Events unfold at one of the outposts of the Termez detachment, where the hero tries himself as the deputy commander of the outpost for political affairs. Trying on officer's shoulder straps is not complete without comic and interesting plots.
