The final part of the trilogy. A negligent Guardian Angel was brought down to earth to correct his mistakes and save his charge - attack aircraft pilot, Lieutenant Andrei Chudilin. The originally designated punishment - to save Andrei from death 8 times - has been fulfilled and exceeded, but for some reason the mission continues. The main commandment “thou shalt not kill”, violated more than once by the Guardian Angel, changes the conditions of the game. The task becomes even more complicated, the term of serving the sentence is extended. The knowledge, combat skills, and skill of Agnia, the rear gunner of the Il-2 attack aircraft, grow phenomenally quickly, and soon the Guardian Angel’s combat capabilities reach almost the Absolute. The quarrelsome, eccentric, incompetent girl disappears, and in her place appears a skilled, tough and merciless fighter. But at the same time, an internal transformation of the Guardian Angel occurs - he becomes more and more “humanized.”
