Northern Britain, 1st millennium AD, three Celts from the Sigurn tribe, a young woman named Dalira and her two children, fleeing from their own tribesmen. On their way, they encounter cruel strangers who want to turn the fugitives into their slaves. Having escaped capture, Dalira is left alone.
