Day and night, seventeen-year-old Conan pursues a gang of killers who massacred an entire Cimmerian clan. The road of revenge leads the young Cimmerian through Ophir and Stygia beyond the River Styx. There he will have to fight with the leader of the gang, Taharka. The ancient gods themselves come to life to take part in the battle, and victory becomes more dangerous than defeat.
