A young man, having arrived from Baku to visit his friend in a provincial Russian city, ends up in prison as a result of a fight and a stabbing. After spending four years in the zone and being released, he meets a woman, falls in love with her and decides to marry her and stay in this city. Once, when he and his wife were returning home in the evening by train, having spent the day outside the city, at the next station a crowd of skinheads, 15-17 year olds, burst into the almost empty carriage and began to pester his wife. He fights them, armed with brass knuckles and knives. Nine teenagers rush at him, he manages to kill several of them, but the eldest in the gang of youths shoots and inflicts a mortal wound on him. At the next station - a deserted stop - late in the evening, skinheads drag out the corpse of a man and his wife, half-dead from fear, rape her, stabbing her, mocking the corpse and running away. The woman, having survived, spends several days in the hospital, in a coma. Then, having regained consciousness, he asks to inform the brother of the murdered husband in Baku. The brother of the murdered man is a former paratrooper, a police officer comes to take revenge. The hunt for skinheads begins.
