We present two stories (“Bisova Soul” and “Killer”) from the collection “Don Stories” (in printed version “The Farm of My Childhood”), which was prepared jointly by the GERA IMPEX Publishing House and the EPUBLI.DE platform. The collection includes memories, partly autobiographical, from childhood spent on the farm. The living language, the colorfulness of the southern dialect and the situations in which the main character and his friends find themselves will not leave anyone indifferent. Laughter through tears, sometimes quiet sadness, and sometimes sarcasm and self-irony, connect into a single artistic canvas all the events that take place either in the Don steppe, or in the Pansky forest, on the Savkina River, in Azov or in Rostov-on-Don. Many of the characters are real personalities, and the events may have also happened... But the reader has to decide for himself where the story ends and where the fairy tale begins. The wonderful gift of a storyteller does not let you get bored, and the romantic description of nature makes us think about the beauty that always surrounds us - Mother Nature.
