An ironic adventure novel-parable about events of the very recent past. The novel was written in 1999; Everything about him is recognizable: the always drunk president, the red-haired scoundrel who stole the USSR privatization project from a student in a Leningrad beer bar, and the short oligarchs. “The Time of Dwarfs” was ready to be published by several publishing houses, but they asked the author to remove any mention of influential persons from the content. The author refused.
