The book by the great-grandson of the now-forgotten Russian writer N.A. Lukhmanova (1841–1907) and the great-great-grandson of the main Siberian tanner F.S. Kolmogorov (1824–1893) presents a fascinating history of family chronicles dating back to the 11th–16th centuries. Stories about the stormy, almost adventurous life of “frantic Nadezhda”, which led her to the Russian-Japanese War, about the fate of her illegitimate children, and then grandchildren, among whom there are many famous and extremely interesting people, their diaries, letters, poems, memoirs - all this read in one sitting. On the pages of the book, the reader will find little-known facts about the biography of N. Gumilyov’s muse, Tatyana Adamovich, as well as her brother, the poet Georgy Adamovich.
