We've just talked a lot about money. We are used to such conversations. Money keeps us all busy. Our whole life passes under the sign of their eternal lack. What would happen if suddenly there was an excess of them? Eduardo Vacquerizo shows in his story that we would most likely easily find another way to return ourselves to the habitual state of scarcity. Eduardo Vacquerizo was born in 1968 and - which is not unusual in the field of science fiction - is a professional aviation engineer. But, with a passion for the natural sciences, technology and literature, he always wrote. Over the past 10 years, he has published dozens of short stories, countless reviews and articles, and five novels. El lanzador, his first novel, is a surreal story of a city and its inhabitants. Rax, a gritty cyberpunk set in near-future Madrid, won the Spanish Science Fiction Society's Ignotus Literary Award. Eduardo Vacquerizo's most famous novel is Stranded, a book based on the Spanish science fiction film of the same name about a failed expedition to Mars. (In the Russian translation, the film is called “Aground” or “Bound”). (A. Eshbach).
