Foreword by Hector Sebastian I am pleased to introduce you to my friends who have opened the unusual detective agency “Three Investigators” in the Californian town of Rocky Beach. If you are already familiar with these amazing guys, you can turn the page and start reading, I won’t be offended. If not, I'm at your service! I'll start with Jupiter Jones, the head of the agency. Possessing extraordinary abilities, he reads and remembers much more than any other person I have ever met. His memory is simply phenomenal! Sometimes, based on the analysis of just a few facts, he finds an original way to quickly complete the investigation. Pete Crenshaw, the tallest boy, has a kind and cheerful character. He is easy-going and always ready for adventure, but sometimes considers Jupiter prone to unnecessarily risky actions. And, frankly, this is not just his opinion. Bob Andrews, an outwardly quiet and inconspicuous guy, is absolutely indispensable in everything that concerns the technical side of things. Taking photographs, collecting evidence, all the secretarial work in the agency rests with him, but this does not mean that he sits behind the backs of his friends. In terms of courage and resourcefulness, Bob is in no way inferior to them. As for me, I am a retired detective and spend my leisure time writing detective novels and scripts. Fate brought me together with The Three Investigators during the “Case of the Beggar Tramp with a Scar on His Face,” but that’s a completely different story. It’s just that we’ve been friends since then, and I follow their work with interest, from time to time I suggest interesting cases and am always happy about the agency’s successes. This time the guys found the case themselves, or, more precisely, it found them when they went to time for the summer holidays on an exciting journey across the country. The holidays gradually began to turn into a forced escape from mysterious pursuers, who for some unknown reason were putting the children’s lives in mortal danger.
