The book “A Candle is Burning in My Memory” by the famous writer Misha Lev (1917–2013) is dedicated to the years of his childhood and youth. The pages of documentary prose preserve the memory of his parents and friends, of famous Jewish writers with whom fate brought him together, of life in Kharkov and Moscow in the 1930s. It is about the fact that, according to Misha Lev, life itself took it away and preserved it in the hidden depths of memory. It is being published in Russian for the first time.
