This textbook has been prepared in accordance with the addition and clarification of the prosecutorial supervision course programs on the basis of the Federal Law “On the Prosecutor’s Office” and with the maximum use of other legislative acts. The manual examines the tasks and functions of the Russian prosecutor’s office, its powers, main areas of activity, content and forms of activity. The concept of development of the prosecutor's office as an important state and legal institution in the modern Russian state is reflected. A standard program for the course is given.
