The story “North of Chernobyl” describes the area of the Chernobyl exclusion zone in 2011. Based on data from the game “S.T.A.L.K.E.R.” in compliance with the locations and basic parameters. The situation is considered when an ordinary person accidentally ends up in an unusual place, with the assumption that the territory, free from control by the authorities, will be used for their own purposes by various kinds of criminal elements. This provides the main character with a large number of enemies. In the first stage, the hero comes to the aid of a wounded Chernobyl pseudo-dog, ensuring that he has a valuable ally. Saving a group of stalkers from bandits, he decides to clarify the situation and make money. The development of events drags him into a territorial war. Heroes appear who act independently. In war, as in war, losses are inevitable. A series of minor characters demonstrate possible twists of fate. In the decisive battle, opponents of his enemies and special services from neighboring countries come to the aid of the main character. The main theme of the story is the idea that the ordinary Russian has nothing to fear anymore. Everything bad has already happened to him, and it can only get better. Or not...
